The Subaru BRZ electric car, the Subaru Impreza, will be on sale by 2022, and it will be the first electric vehicle to be offered in the U.S. for some time, according to the company’s chief executive officer.
In a recent interview with The Verge, Mike Horn, Subaru’s president and chief executive, said that the automaker’s electric vehicles are going to be a big part of the company in the future.
“I think for the next 15 years or so, there’s going to continue to be an emphasis on electric vehicles,” he said.
“There’s a lot of work ahead.”
Horn said that Subaru is working with car manufacturers to offer electric cars, and the company will start making them in 2022.
Subaru’s new BRZ will offer a range of options, from $30,000 to $70,000, with a range-extended option starting at $75,000.
The company is working to bring the price of the new electric BRZ to as low as $30 for consumers.
Hood, a former Ford executive, was recently named CEO of Toyota Motor and is also the president and CEO of a group called Toyota Group.
He has a history with Subaru, as he served as a global marketing manager for Subaru in the 1980s.
It was the first automaker to introduce an electric vehicle, the WRX STI, in 1985.
At the time, the electric car was a niche product, but it helped propel Subaru into the mainstream of luxury cars.
Since then, Subaru has sold more than 40 million electric cars.
The BRZ, which is made by Subaru of Japan, will start at $35,000 in the United States, which was about $10,000 lower than the starting price of an electric car.
But Horn told The Verge that the BRZ’s price point is not as steep as other premium models, like the Audi A3 or the BMW i3, which have both sold millions of units.
Horn did say that the price point for the BRz will increase by $3,000 over the next four years, and that it will start with a battery of 60 kWh.
The new electric vehicle will be able to take its own charge, which Horn said is a significant advantage in a country where the average home uses about 150 kWh a year.
We are looking at a long-term market opportunity for electric vehicles, and we believe that the technology will be ready to roll in 2021, Horn said.
The BRz was also revealed to have an electric drivetrain.
That means it will not be possible to swap batteries, Horn added.
I think the BRX is going to have a long road ahead of it,” Horn said, referring to the new BRz.
While the BR Z will not feature a lithium-ion battery, the new model will be powered by the same lithium-air battery pack that Subaru currently offers in its models.
Battery tech is still in its infancy, and many automakers are working to develop a battery that can power a large number of vehicles.
The first BRZ model, the BRS, will debut in 2020, and then the company is expected to introduce the BRW in 2022 and the BRF in 2023.
